This image was taken in Neuvo Viarta, Mexico. This large palapa had lights that would alternate colors and light up the roof above. This was a very large palapa creating a grand hallway. A palapa is an open-sided dwelling with a thatched roof made of dried palm leaves, and they are very common near some Mexico beaches and resorts. This one is much more grand and longer than most palapas I had seen before. Watching the colors alternate across the roof was mesmerizing and beautiful.
