Description

This is a fractalius image of a tiger I took pictures of at the Denver Aquarium in Denver Colorado. I recently decided to try to create some fractalasius images and this is one of my first attempts and I'm pleased with the final image I was able to create. I wanted to create an effect where it looked like flames were coming up from the tiger.

I entered this image into the 2013 Lone Tree Photographic Art Show and Sale in Lone Tree, Colorado. This contest had entries from many of the 50 states in the U.S. Out of 606 entries, only 93 images were selected to be in the show. This image won first place in the Digital Art category. Each person that submitted entries for this show, was allowed to submit three entries. From all the entries, only 71 photographers/artists were accepted into the show and I was the only person to get all three of my images accepted into the show.
My entries are printed on metal and I really like how they turned out on the metal print.
